Guido Kerkhoff, born in 1967, has been a Member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Telekom AG since March 2009. As the Board member Europe, he is responsible for managing Deutsche Telekom’s subsidiaries in Europe, which offer both fixed-network and mobile communications services. This region includes the OTE group of companies in Greece, Romania, Albania, and Bulgaria, the Magyar Telekom Group in Hungary and its affiliates in Montenegro and F.Y.R.O Macedonia, as well as Slovak Telekom (Slovakia) and T-Hrvatski Telekom (Croatia). As of April 1, 2010, he is also responsible for the mobile-centric operations in The Netherlands, Austria, Poland and the Czech Republic, the joint venture in the United Kingdom as well as International Sales, Service and Marketing.
Since April 2002, Guido Kerkhoff has held various management positions in Deutsche Telekom’s Finance department and has been Head of Group Accounting and Controlling since mid-2006.
Having graduated with a degree in Business Administration, Guido Kerkhoff began his career in the Group Accounting department of VEW AG from 1995 through 1996. He then moved to Bertelsmann AG, where he most recently headed up the department responsible for projects and general corporate accounting and controlling issues for over three years.
