The Media Center is at the core of connected life and work. Users store and manage their data with this Web application - uploading content, creating folders and sharing selected data with friends. After a one-time registration process, there’s online space for mails, contacts, photos, music or videos. Anything uploaded to the Media Center can be retrieved via PC, TV set or mobile phone.

The "share" function allows users to share things like the most memorable moments of a vacation with friends - as a photo or video. Users can define the people who get access and who can view the content when it is tagged for sharing.
Emails, photos and music on the TV
In Germany, content is accessed on the TV set via Entertain, Deutsche Telekom's IPTV offering. Entertain customers can click their remote controls to read emails, listen to their favourite music and view personal photographs on their TV screens - all in the comfort of their own living rooms. Additionally, Entertain offers several further Web services that can be integrated in the TV menu - weather reports, a personal horoscope, a football ticker and the user's personal Ebay account. Viewers can thus keep an eye on their Ebay activities or the local weather report as they watch TV.
Mobile access at any time
All content stored in the Media Center can also be accessed via mobile phone. That way, DT customers with Internet-enabled mobile devices have their favourite photos and songs with them wherever they go. Mobile administration of the Center is also possible with respective applications for the iPhone and G1, along with T-Mobile's web'n'walk portal. For instance, pictures taken with a cellphone camera can be uploaded to the Media Center immediately and are then available on any device.
